How to Fill Out PDF Forms Online

Fill in a PDF form in your browser and save an editable or flattened copy.

Open the form

Go to Fill a PDF Online and choose the PDF. If it has form fields, they appear as boxes you can type into and options you can click.

Fill it in

Click each field and type, tick checkboxes, choose radio options and pick from dropdowns. Required fields are marked, and you'll see how many are still empty.

Choose how to save

Editable filled PDF keeps your answers in the fields — handy if you might change them. Flattened makes the answers part of the page and removes the fields, so nobody can alter them. Download and you're done.

No fields?

If the PDF has no fillable fields, it's a flat form. Click “Make this PDF fillable” to add text fields and checkboxes where you need them, then fill those in.
