Make a PDF fillable

Upload a PDF you already have — an application, a checklist, an order form — and turn it into a form people can fill in on screen. The fields you add are genuine PDF form fields that work in Adobe Acrobat Reader, web browsers and macOS Preview.

How it works

  1. Upload your PDF. It opens in the editor without leaving your device.
  2. Optional: click Auto-detect fields to get suggestions for blank lines, checkbox symbols and labels like “Name:”. Review each suggestion.
  3. Pick a field type and click where it belongs. Drag the Move tab to reposition it and the corner handle to resize it.
  4. Name each field and set options like Required or a list of choices.
  5. Click Preview to try the form, then Download Fillable PDF.

What gets preserved

Your original pages are kept as they are: text, images, fonts, page sizes and orientation. If the PDF already has form fields, they're kept too and shown as Existing — PDFQuick Forms never silently flattens them.

Limitations

Frequently asked questions

Will the fields really be fillable in other apps?

Yes. PDFQuick Forms writes standard AcroForm fields — the same kind Acrobat creates — so the downloaded PDF can be filled in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Chrome, Edge, Firefox and macOS Preview. Readers differ in small ways (for example, only Acrobat enforces date formats).

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is opened, edited and saved in your browser. Nothing is sent to PDFQuick Forms.

Does it cost anything?

No. Making PDFs fillable and downloading them is free, with no watermark and no account.
